Derek and I met in November of 2014, though mutual friends. I was 18 and he was 20. We exchanged number and started hangout with a small group of friends. We officially started date in January 2015, so it didn’t take either of us long to get serious. When people would ask Derek when we were getting married he always would joke that we have at least 10 years before that happens!! Derek and I love the outdoors, from jeep rides to tractor rides around the county side. One night Derek and I went on our regular tractor ride around dusk. It was a beautiful sunset and he proposed! We were so excited and didn’t want to wait any longer to start our lives together. We were engaged at the end of August 29, 2020 and married in April 10th 2021! We are now currently expecting a baby girl January 3, 2021!!"
