I had spent my whole life at the ball park and that day I knew why. I spied a very handsome and very athletic guy taking infield preparing for the state tournament. My mom caught me staring and said go talk to him but I was too shy to follow through. An hour later I hear someone come up next to me and say "hey you're Taylor right?" Little did we know at that moment but it was meant to be. We were both in the middle of moving to champaign. Our places ended up being less than a mile apart. We spent almost every second together when I wasn't playing ball for Parkland College. 5 and half years after meeting Drew he proposed on the eve of Christmas Eve 2020 with a present I was so ready for. We got married July 10, 2021 with all 100 family members and 150 of the best family friends we could ask for. Today I'm a PE teacher and coach and a lot of my life is still spent at the ball park but this time around I get to spend it with my HUSBAND! I can't wait for us to raise kids at the ball diamonds but for now this is our story.
