My fiancé and I met were neighbors while doing a summer internship at a nonprofit called Eden’s Glory. We were moving to different states at the end of the summer, but thankfully we made it past the summer fling stage. We were long distance for almost a year and then moved to Illinois so I could work full time for that same non profit.
We were hammocking and he was listing all of the animals he thinks he could take in a fight. I don’t know why that was it for me but I don’t think I’d ever laughed that hard before!
We went to St. Louis enjoyed the botanical gardens and took a walk by the arch. Two of my close friends were there to capture the moment but forgot the camera lol. He proposed, we went to Chick-fil-A and then went home, popped some champagne and played games with our loved ones! It was perfect.
Our wedding day was the most perfect and magical everJosiah’s dad officiated our ceremony which was so special. I’m from Louisiana so it was only fitting that my family catered with traditional New Orleans gumbo. We ate, drank lavender lemonade made by my friend whose family owns a lavender farm, and dance for hours!
