We met on Tinder! I knew he was the one when he felt like home! When I pictured myself in 5 or 10 years, all those plans included him. And he fit in with my family (and vise versa) which was so important for both of us.
He proposed a few days after Christmas in 2020. It was so special because my family from New Orleans was in town and got to be a part of it. He had an ornament wrapped up that said Ashlee will you marry me?” I am obsessed with memory Christmas ornaments so it meant the world to me. I can’t wait to hang that up on the tree years from now and have our future children asking about it.
We got married at Paul’s Tree Farm in Pleasant Plains and it was so gorgeous. I always hear couples say they hardly get to see each other on their wedding day but that wasn’t the case for Seth and I because we danced all night together!
Vayda Jane was absolutely amazing! Being plus size, I was worried about finding a dress and being comfortable during appointments. Vayda Jane put me first and made sure I was feeling confident the entire time."
