We meet in High school Foods Class. His Junior year, my freshman year. He asked me to homecoming and he’s the only guy I ever brought home that my dad literally took aside, sat down and had a chatted with. We were best friends for years after high school and very comfortable with each other. He spent lots of time not just with me, but my whole family and everyone loved him!
Austyn hid a makeshift pickle ornament in the Christmas tree for me to find. The homemade, paper pickle ornament had a message inside it that said will you be my forever dancing buddy.
Despite all the imperfections we just rolled with it and had the best day ever! No drama, lots of love and tons of fun! We had boiled peanuts, buried the bourbon” and in the end we were married!
Picking out my dress at Vayda Jane was one of the best parts of the whole wedding planning process! I did the VIP experience so that during COVID restrictions I could have all of my bridesmaids and my mom and her sister with me (10 people in all). We all had a blast! If I had it to do all over again I wouldn’t change a thing!"
