We met while working as faculty at church camp in 2018. I had to leave early and when I left, he was bummed and asked my sister where I went. A month later, thanks to help from my sister, we went on our first date. For a month we spent every day together then he left for boot camp. We wrote letters back and forth until Christmas when we saw each other again. We did long distance for almost 4 years, with a deployment last year, but it was all worth it!
I knew he was the one when his love for Jesus, his mind set & actions to back it, and his love & commitment for me.
His proposal was amazing!e took me to his parents boat dock to look at the stars and talk. After a few minutes, he took out a ring and asked me to marry him!
Our wedding was the best day EVER! I don’t think it could have been more perfect."
