We met through a mutual friend and hit it off from the very start! We went to the same schools growing up, but never crossed paths until later. Our relationship has been effortless from the start. He knows me better than I know myself and we are truly the perfect balance. We have done it all in the last 7 years. We started out doing short distance for a year, to then going to the same college for 3 years, to then very long distance for 2 years. He was home for the Holidays during the final stretch of our long distance relationship. We celebrated New Years Eve at my place and in front of all of our friends he proposed. It was so unexpected, but so fun to look back on. I remember our wedding day like it was yesterday. I really tried my best to soak in every moment and detail. I wasn’t nervous at all and I can truly say it was the happiest day of my life. In our eyes, it was perfect. Our first dance was one of my favorite moments- it truly felt like time had stopped and it was just two. We have never been happier and are loving every moment of married life. I hope we never lose the feelings we shared on that day and can always look back and remember how loved we are as individuals but also as a couple. A day we will never forget!”
