Ben and I met in 4th grade religious education classes at church. We became friends and eventually high school sweethearts. He is the most selfless and kind person that I know, and challenges me to be a better person everyday. He really is my best friend. I couldn’t imagine a life without him.
Ben took me to his family’s favorite vacation spot: Estes Park, CO. The first day we were there, he drove me to a lookout spot on the side of a mountain to “take photos” before dinner. There, he got down on one knee and asked me to be his wife.
Our wedding day was perfect. We have the world’s best friends and family who made the whole day about Ben and I’s love. I got to say “I do” to Ben in the church we both grew up in and celebrate with all of the people we love. It was truly the best day of our lives.“
