My husband and I met at Saint Louis University Chi Alpha. We both were freshman when we joined the Christian group.We got to know each other better during sophomore year while playing Mario kart with friends and participating in intramural soccer.
He took me on a hike in Indiana (after I refused to go to starved rock because of the cold) and found a spot he liked and said some things I don’t remember and popped the question. He also took me to get my nails done before so I may or may not have been suspicious. I knew he was the one after seeing his strong rooted Catholic faith in our relationship.
Our day was perfect! we had all of our loved ones surrounding us and a beautiful mass in the church I grew up in. It went by all too fast and we wish we could relieve it!”
