Aaron and I first met in high school. Although we went to different schools, we were set up by some wonderful mutual friends.
Aaron proposed on my birthday weekend, teasing me with plans while keeping the details a mystery. The only hint I got was to wear something nice!" My friends planned to get manicures that week to celebrate my birthday, which heightened my suspicions. When the weekend arrived, he took me to our almost-finished future home, where I was greeted with a lovely meal, flowers, and a beautifully set table.
