Zach and I have known each other since 6th grade and were friends all throughout our teenage years. As I neared the end of my senior year of college, we decided to take a leap and found that our friendship was the perfect foundation to our relationship and now marriage. Once we learned that our values, goals, and dreams for the future aligned, it was obvious that he was my person.It was a Sunday morning in October and we had just gotten back to his house after church. It was the windiest day of the year and Zach said “hey honey, let’s go take a picture”. Somehow I still wasn’t expecting it until he turned to me and got down on one knee. It was sweet and intimate with the perfect touch of humor because our dog wanted to be part of the story as he jumped up and knocked the ring out of Zach’s hand just as he was asking me to marry him! Best moment ever! Our wedding day was simply incredible. Although it rained for the majority of the day, we had the most special day surrounded by our family and friends! From the ceremony to the celebration, each moment felt like a dream. It was amazing to spend the day celebrating our love with my best friend and love of my life. I felt like a princess in my Vayda Jane Bridal dress and still look back on the day I said yes to the dress with a smile! I am so grateful for the wonderful ladies at Vayda Jane for helping me find my dream dress!”
